How do people in Sa Pa build rice fields?
Some rice fields in Sapa are over 100 years old. They were built by hand using simple tools and farm animals like buffaloes to built. The fields were created by local ethnic minority groups, mainly the H’mong, Dao, Giay, and Tay. These groups have passed down farming skills through generations.
