Sapa Adventure: Explore Mountains and Villages Trek

Day 1: Let’s Begin the Adventure!

Morning: Meet your friendly Sapa guide at 9 am at your hotel or in front of the Sapa Church.
Warm-up Trek: We’ll start with a short hike uphill for about 1 kilometer. But don’t worry, it’s an easy trail!
Stunning Views: Once we reach the top, you’ll see amazing views! Look at the big Fansipan Mountain and the cute town of Sapa below.
Rice Fields Everywhere: Get ready to be amazed by the famous rice fields of Muong Hoa Valley. They’re super important in Vietnam, and they look beautiful! You’ll also see the river in the valley, adding to the view.
Going Down and Meeting Locals: After enjoying the views, we’ll walk down to Hang Da village. Here, the Black Hmong people live. Keep your eyes open for animals like buffaloes, pigs, and maybe even wild boars!
Time for Lunch: We’ll stop at a small, family-run restaurant for a yummy lunch. You’ll get to taste some local food!
Onward to Hau Thao: After lunch, we’ll go to Hau Thao village, another Black Hmong community. Maybe we’ll see villagers working in the rice fields!
Homestay Welcome: A friendly Black Hmong family will welcome us to their home in Hau Thao village. You can relax, take a shower, and get ready for dinner.
Evening: Have fun with your friends, and get excited for another day of adventure tomorrow!

Day 2: More Rice Fields, Waterfalls & Forests (9 miles or 6 hours)
Start with a hot cup of coffee or tea! Enjoy a walk around your homestay, seeing the beautiful rice fields.

After breakfast, we’ll walk to Su Pan village, where Black Hmong people live.

Then, we’ll take a ride to see the Giang Ta Chai waterfalls.

Next, we’ll visit the Red Dao area. Your guide will tell you cool things about their culture and life. You might even visit a Red Dao family!

Back to the waterfalls! This time, we’ll take a different path and cross a hanging bridge.

Lunchtime! We’ll eat at a cozy restaurant in Giang Ta Chai village, made by a Hmong family.

Ready for more? We’ll walk through a bamboo forest to Ta Van village, where Black Hmong and Giay minorities live.

Day 3: Trekking Through Beautiful Rice Fields  10 KM
Eat a good breakfast because we’re trekking to Lao Chai and Y Linh Ho villages today!

We’ll start in Lao Chai, crossing a bridge over the river. Get ready for amazing views!

As we climb, look at the stunning rice fields and big mountains. They’re so beautiful!

Once we reach the top, we’ll go down to Y Linh Ho village. Lunchtime! We’ll eat at a nice restaurant run by a Hmong family.

After lunch, a short walk will take us to our car. It will take us back to Sapa town and your hotel.

The tour ends around 2-3 pm. You’ll have time to explore Sapa or go back to Hanoi.

Price for a group tour

114 USD/person for a group of 2-6 people.
How it works:
Notification: We’ll let you know a day before the tour starts about how many people will join you on the tour day.
Extra Charge for Solo Travelers:
If nobody else joins you on the departure day and you are the only person, there will be an extra charge of 6 USD, making your tour a private one. This extra charge can be paid later.
No Extra Charge for Groups: If your group has more than 2 people and no one else joins the tour on the departure day, there will be no extra charge. You will still enjoy a private tour.

Sapa Local Guide cancellation policy

6+ days prior tour start date: 100% reimbursement of the tour price (no cancellation charges)
2 to 5-days prior tour start date: 50% reimbursement of the tour price
1 day before or same day of tour start date: no reimbursement

Bus From Hanoi to Sapa (Optional)

This is an optional extra.

The bus ride to Sapa takes about 6 hours. If you get to Sapa earlier than planned, you can wait at the bus station or on the bus itself until 5:00 am.

We have three bus options:

  • Sleeper Bus: This is a good choice if you’re on a budget and don’t mind sharing some space. Plus, the beds can be adjusted if you’re a bit taller.
  • Cabin Sleeper Bus: This is a more private option with a private cabin.
  • Single Cabin Sleeper Bus: This is also a private cabin, but for just one person.

Whichever option you choose, once we receive your booking, we’ll confirm it and send you your bus tickets!

Bus Price

Cabin Sleeper Bus (30 USD each way): This option has a private room with 2 bunk beds, perfect for couples or anyone who wants privacy.

Single Cabin Sleeper Bus (20 USD each way): This is a private room with just one bed, ideal for solo travelers who want some peace and quiet.

Sleeper Bus (15 USD each way): This is the most affordable option. You’ll have a single bed in a shared space.
