Morning Trip: Walking Through the Rice Terraces

At 8 AM, our local guide will meet you at your hotel or Sapa center. We will walk through the beautiful rice terraces in Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages. You will see green hills, small farms, and local houses made of wood. As we walk, you can see water buffalo in the fields and kids playing on the paths. The quiet village life and fresh air will help you relax. We will stop at a small local restaurant for lunch. You can try tasty food made by the people who live there. After lunch, a car will take us back to Sapa Town.

Afternoon Trip: Visit Fansipan The Highest Mountain in Vietnam

In the afternoon, we will go to the cable car station with our guide. You will take a cable car ride over tall trees, green hills, and small villages. It is quiet and very beautiful. When the cable car stops, you will walk up about 600 steps to reach the top of Fansipan mountain. This is the highest place in Vietnam. The air is cool, and you can see clouds below you. At the top, you will see big statues and stone temples. You can take nice photos and enjoy the view. We will go back to Sapa Town at about 4 PM.

Price for a group tour

This tour is for groups of 2 to 6 people. The price is 100 USD per person.
How it works:
We will tell you a day before your tour how many other people will be joining you.
If nobody else joins your tour, you will have a private tour (just you) for an extra 10 USD (which you will need to pay then).
If there are other people joining you, but there are fewer than 2 people total.

Sapa Local Guide cancellation policy

6+ days prior tour start date: 100% reimbursement of the tour price (no cancellation charges)
2 to 5-days prior tour start date: 50% reimbursement of the tour price
1 day before or same day of tour start date: no reimbursement

Bus From Hanoi to Sapa (Optional)

This is an optional extra.

The bus ride to Sapa takes about 6 hours. If you get to Sapa earlier than planned, you can wait at the bus station or on the bus itself until 5:00 am.

We have three bus options:

  • Sleeper Bus: This is a good choice if you’re on a budget and don’t mind sharing some space. Plus, the beds can be adjusted if you’re a bit taller.
  • Cabin Sleeper Bus: This is a more private option with a private cabin.
  • Single Cabin Sleeper Bus: This is also a private cabin, but for just one person.

Whichever option you choose, once we receive your booking, we’ll confirm it and send you your bus tickets!

Bus Price

Cabin Sleeper Bus (30 USD each way): This option has a private room with 2 bunk beds, perfect for couples or anyone who wants privacy.

Single Cabin Sleeper Bus (20 USD each way): This is a private room with just one bed, ideal for solo travelers who want some peace and quiet.

Sleeper Bus (15 USD each way): This is the most affordable option. You’ll have a single bed in a shared space.
