Detailed itinerary of local Sapa tour guide

The tour commences at 9 am, with Sapa Local Guide meeting you either at your hotel in Sapa town or in front of Sapa’s main church.

Following a brief introduction, we’ll stroll for 5 minutes to a small trail where you’ll encounter cardamom trees nestled in the valleys, one of Sapa’s prized fruits. Then, we’ll descend to Suoi Ho, a quaint village inhabited by the Black Hmong minority, characterized by aged, diminutive houses.

Along the way, you’ll encounter various animals integral to local life such as water buffaloes, chickens, dogs, and pigs, amidst the stunning backdrop of rice terrace fields and mountains.

Our journey continues along a narrow road weaving through rice paddies to Ma Tra village, where we’ll enjoy lunch at a cozy restaurant managed by a traditional Hmong family, boasting an outdoor patio with breathtaking vistas.

Post-lunch, we’ll venture to Ta Phin village, home to both Black Hmong and Red Dao minorities. The Hmong community upholds unique marriage customs, while the Red Dao are renowned for their prowess in herbal medicine, utilizing indigenous plants for treating various ailments.

You’ll also have the opportunity to explore Ta Phin Cave, delving deep into the mountains, and witness women crafting brocade products for sale.

Transportation back to Sapa will be arranged from Ta Phin, marking the conclusion of the tour.

(The tour is expected to conclude around 3:30 pm in Sapa town, allowing ample time to book a bus back to Hanoi or elsewhere thereafter.)
