Trekking Tour from Sapa to Ta Phin.
At 9:00 AM, your Sapa local guide will meet you at your hotel in Sapa town or in front of Sapa main church. After a short talk, we will walk for about 5 minutes to a small trail.
Along the trail, you will see cardamom trees growing in the valley. These trees are special in Sapa because they give a valuable fruit. After that, we will go down to Suoi Ho village. This is a quiet place where the Black Hmong people live. You can see small, old houses and learn about their way of life.
As we walk, you will also see many animals like water buffaloes, chickens, dogs, and pigs. These animals are very important to the local people. Around you, there will be beautiful rice terraces and tall green mountains.
Next, we will follow a small road through the rice fields to reach Ma Tra village. Here, we will stop for lunch at a small restaurant. The restaurant is run by a Hmong family and has an outdoor area where you can enjoy great views.
After lunch, we will walk to Ta Phin village. This village is home to both the Black Hmong and Red Dao people. The Hmong have special marriage customs. The Red Dao are famous for their herbal medicine. They use local plants to make treatments for many health problems.
In Ta Phin, you can also visit a cave that goes deep into the mountains. You will also see women making and selling colorful brocade fabrics by hand.
From Ta Phin, a car will take you back to Sapa town. The tour ends at about 3:30 PM. You will have enough time to catch a bus back to Hanoi or another place if needed.
